Built From the Floor Up.

Aram Tessier

I’m Aram Tessier, founder of CLEAR Leadership & Ops.

I didn’t grow up chasing titles. I grew up chasing understanding.

My grandfather walked a factory floor until the day he died. He invented the twist pen and pencil, but what I remember most wasn’t the invention. It was the way he moved through production. He knew the people. He knew the machines. He knew the bottlenecks before the reports did.


I started there, as a pad print technician in his pen factory. Ink on my hands. Deadlines on my back. Learning how work actually feels when you’re the one responsible for getting it out the door. Over time, I mastered screen printing, laser, embroidery, digital production. Not to stack skills on a résumé, but to remove blind spots. I never wanted to lead from a spreadsheet without knowing what the job demanded physically and mentally. That’s where I learned something most leaders miss. Respect is not granted by position. It’s earned through presence. I’ve set up presses when no one else could. Packed boxes after hours. Stepped into production to save customer relationships. Challenged owners who blamed people instead of broken systems. Leadership, to me, has never been theoretical. And then life raised the stakes. Becoming a caregiver for my disabled sister didn’t shift my philosophy. It sharpened it. When you’re responsible for someone who depends on you every day, you understand quickly that leadership is not control. It’s consistency. It’s patience. It’s stability when things feel unstable. It reinforced what I already knew from the floor: Connection beats authority. Clarity beats chaos.
Presence beats perfection.


CLEAR wasn’t built as a brand exercise. It was built as a pattern breaker.

For founders who feel overwhelmed but capable. For operators who know something is off but can’t name it. For leaders who don’t want to become the very thing they once resented.
